Five Acres continues the dramatic progress made in 2008 in our commitment to a “permanency vision” – to ensure that every child served by the agency has a permanent, lifelong connection to a caring adult. Permanency – or creating “forever families” – is now being embraced in every area of children’s welfare. Eighty-seven percent of children on campus and 98% those in our foster care have established what promises to be lifelong connections.
