Consider becoming a volunteer tutor, homework helper or special friend. Volunteers are an important and integral part of our treatment program at Five Acres. They support and enhance our mission and inspire vulnerable children to realize their full potential as caring and productive adults. Consider volunteering. Depending on the volunteer position, all direct service volunteers must commit to a minimum consistent time period of service (anywhere from one school semester to one year or more), ranging from one hour to all day depending on the volunteer position.

All prospective volunteers must be interviewed, livescan fingerprinted and have a current TB Test before commencing service. These requirements help the agency ensure a safe environment for all Five Acres staff, children, families and volunteers.
