In recognition and gratitude to individuals and organizations that made significant contributions to child abuse prevention, treatment and education, Five Acres presented their 2008 Community Service Awards to the following recipients at the March Annual Meeting.
Bill Goldmann received the Volunteer of the Year Award. He has served as chair of the Advocacy Committee for five years.
Joel Davis received the Special Services Award for devoting considerable time as a special friend and children’s tutor. He also an ongoing Five Acres resource donor.
Wells Fargo received Special Recognition Award for its many years of services and sponsorships.
Christine Davis earned the Lifetime Achievement Award for her leadership and dedication to the success of the agency. She just completed service as the board chair.
Tom Haralambos received the Person of the Year Award for his ongoing involvement in the agency and for his personal and business contributions from his company - Haralambos Beverage Company.
Harcourt Hervey received the Legacy Award for his decades of support.
