We recycle containers, paper products, toner, e-waste and other consumables and we purchase recycled products. We utilize an FSC-certified printer and choose FSC-certified recycled paper to sustain our forest resources.
FIVE ACRES CONSERVES Through agency-wide use of fluorescent bulbs, passive energy, non-disposable dishes, digital correspondence and electronic filing systems Five Acres extends conservation and further reduces the impact on the environment.
FIVE ACRES SEEKS YOUR HELP Mailed IRS acknowledgment letters, reports and quarterly newsletters require paper copies, ink, energy use, postage and storage. Emailing would save resources, time and free funds that would enable Five Acres to meet additional needs that strengthen our community and improve the lives of abused, abandoned and neglected children and families at-risk.
