Lisa Haley and Blue in action.
A Blue Fiddle Records recording artist, Lisa's compelling songs, boundless energy and blue violin "Louie" have made this fourth-generation "Fiddlist" an ambassador for her modern-day style of "Americana Cajun/Zydeco."

Bringing progressive Louisiana music to a worldwide audience reaches far beyond a career playing solely traditional genre. The protégé of legendary Cajun accordionist Joe Simien of Lawtelle, Louisiana, Lisa has recorded and/or toured with Sir George Martin (Beatles producer), multi-Grammy winner/producer KebMo', Grammy-winning artists Queen Ida, Al Rapone, Rockin' Sydney ("Don't Mess with My Toot-toot",) Randy Newman, Lyle Lovett, Taj Mahal, John Hiatt, Brian Setzer, Dave Koz, and a host of others.

Her All-Star band, The Zydekats, includes: Skip Edwards, accordion/keyboards (Dwight Yoakam/Johnny Rivers); Chuck Alvarez, guitar (Tim Weisberg); Andy Anders, bass (Cajun accordionist Joe Simien); and New Orleans native Maria Martinez, drums (Rita Coolidge/Johnny Paycheck/Barry White.)

Born to Southern parents displaced after WWII, Lisa moved to California as a child for her mother’s health, A descendant of Francis Scott Key and F. Scott Fitzgerald, she was music director for Emmy-winning "Late Mr. Pete Show," and has also acted in "The Beverly Hillbillies Movie" (Jim Varney); "Man in the Moon" (Jim Carey); "Red Dragon" (Sir Anthony Hopkins); on NBC-TV show "Las Vegas" performing her Zydeco and playing with the legendary Little Richard, and others.

Her songs "Louisiana" and Reggie Alligator were recently featured on KNBC-TV and BBC-1. She has performed for Hollywood Bowl Summersounds.
