Mark your Calendar and Sign Up Today for our annual Easter Party for the Children of Five Acres!
On Saturday, April 7th we will be having our second annual Easter Party from 10:00 - 12:00 with the children of Five Acres.
Five
Acres is the oldest non-sectarian child abuse and neglect prevention,
treatment and education center in the San Gabriel Valley and one of the
few in Los Angeles accredited by the internationally recognized Council
on Accreditation for Children and Family Services (COA). Originally
founded as an orphanage in 1888, today Five Acres offers an array of
services including residential care and education, mental health
services in homes and schools, foster care and adoptions, and domestic
violence prevention.
The party provides a positive and fun-filled morning for the children to enjoy and we need your help to make this a success!
We
need volunteers to man the arts & crafts tables, take pictures of
children with the Easter Bunny, decorate pre-Party, judge the tug of
war competetion and much more!
